Beautiful family...

My dear friend is waiting so anxiously to see a preview of her photo shoot from the weekend. How mean of me to make you wait a whole 4 days for a preview! ;) Thanks for your patience.

I'd been feeling a little burned out on shooting families lately. It is so much more work than with an individual...(especially in the post processing phase when you have just one person with the eyes closed in every other picture!). But, this cute family gave me a change of attitude. The kids were so nice to work with, and I just can't resist photographing a whole family of beautiful, blue eyes! Thank you for the fun afternoon! Enjoy your preview! There are many more to come!

Just around the corner...

...from graduation, that is! It has been a busy month for Senior photos...and for Senior families! Here is a sneak peek at a family who is getting ready to say good-bye to their graduating Senior who will be heading off for college soon. It will be a sad day for little brother. These two are like peas in a pod. I just hope my two boys will grow up to be as good of friends as these two are. Enjoy your preview, Mrs. E!

Another Senior...

I had a session with this guy last week, and he was so easy to shoot. He was all about being casual, and that is just fine with me! I promised his mom I'd post a little sneak preview, so here you go! Enjoy! There are lots more where these came from!

Doesn't he have a great smile?

Senior Boys...

I had so much fun with these two! Let me just tell you...Seniors are so much easier to work with than toddlers. I could pretty much tell them to do anything, and they would just do it! It was great! Thanks, guys!

The ties that bind...

It's Spring Break here in Warsaw this week, and we finally lucked out with some beautiful weather for a few days. It doesn't happen very often here, so we are all running outside en mass when the sun is shining...literally! I met this family at a park in the city a few days ago, and (you may not be able to tell from the photos) there must have been 42 million other people at the park that day. It was crazy! I felt like I was at Disneyland, but without the rides! Anyhow, this cute family is having to say good-bye to their daughter who will be graduating next month and heading to university in the US. Can you tell how much this mom loves her daughter? It's so hard to say good-bye. These are for you, Mrs. Z...enjoy!

True Love

These 3 siblings are such sweethearts. They came over the other day for a quick headshot (it's a special, secret project...I'll fill you in on it later), and they were just so sweet and cute with each other. My own kids have rare moments of true sibling affection, but these guys were the real thing! It was obvious to me how much they really do love each other. Truly inspiring! Thanks, guys, for letting me help you with your cool project!

Hello Again!

It's FINALLY beginning to feel like Spring here in Poland and I've decided to take some time to do some Spring Cleaning...on my laptop! Here are a few favorites that I shot for friends back in Romania. With a little help from some of my new Photoshop Actions, there are like new again! Enjoy, and Happy Spring!

Something new for the wall...

I just picked this collage of Marin up from the frame shop. It's hanging on the wall right in front of me in my office. She is all about being happy! Love it!

The face of an angel...

...but don't be fooled! This girl is all trouble! Meet my youngest daughter, Lorin. She makes me crazy, she makes me laugh, she makes me want to pull out my hair, and one day, whether she likes it or not, she'll probably be just like me.

My first loveshoot!

I had my very first engagement session last week and it was so much fun! I spent a few hours together with Asia (don't you love her name?) and Richard walking through the park at Wilanow Palace, and strolling through Warsaw's historic Old Town near the city center. These guys were happy to do anything I told them to do (so much easier than chasing around a toddler) and they're so in love...sigh. Asia, I know you have been waiting desperately to see how these pictures turned out, so here is a sneak peek just for you! I hope you like them, because I have a LOT more! Enjoy!

Curly-Q

I just ordered some amazing Photoshop actions from Nicole V Photography in Utah , and I am in love! This is an old picture of a friend's daughter that I used to run a Color Pop action and also a Light BW action on. I would post the original to compare the difference, but I am too embarrassed! These images put the original to shame! Thanks, Nicole!

Attention Seniors!

I am currently scheduling Saturday appointments for Senior Graduation pictures! This is your chance to be creative...to show off your style, and give your friends something fun to remember you by. Email me for more details.

Still gray, but Skye is in the forecast!

Just checked the 10-day forecast for Warsaw...it's so depressing. My favorite part about being in Austria was seeing the SUN!!! I can't wait to see it again. Not much to shoot, so I'm ordering some new backdrops and will be playing around with my studio a bit more. The American High School is sending me some Senior photo biz, so at least I'll have SOMETHING to do until Spring.

I just signed up for a Skye Hardwick photo workshop (http://www.soulographer.com/) in Portland in August. I am over-the-moon excited! If any of you know her or have been to one of her workshops, let me know! I love her stuff and I am always anxious to learn something new.

Christmas Day at Stubai Glacier

For Christmas, our family took a much needed holiday to the Austrian Tirolean Alps. It was a painful 13 hour drive from Warsaw, but it was well worth it. It was brrrrr cold up on the glacier, but the sky was blue and the snow was abundant. These photos were taken on Christmas Day. What a way to spend our favorite day of the year! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday with your families. Happy new Year!!!
